We want to send our gratitude to everyone who is going to walk with us or donate to our team: Yara's Fan Club!

If you've bought anything online in the last year, donating to this cause is just as easy AND you get to feel good about yourself instead of simply getting more "stuff." Sounds great, right!? If you've been looking for an excuse to give back, this is a great opportunity.

This walk will be our first annual fundraiser for CHD (Congenital Heart Defects) research and treatment. As you may know Yara was born with a CHD - bicuspid AVS with regurgitation. We had no idea about CHDs until she was born, and now that we understand the gravity of the situation, we're hoping to raise money for The Children's Heart Foundation. Their mission is: "to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research." Nice!


I really appreciate you being in my life, Yara's life, and the lives of all families who have been impacted by CHD's.
