WHY WE WALK AND RUN

Our Congenital Heart Walk and 5K brings heart families, survivors, and supporters together for a meaningful run and one-mile walk—honoring Heart Angels we’ve lost and celebrating the Heart Warriors still fighting. It’s a family-friendly day of connection, remembrance, and hope, showing that no one faces CHDs alone.

Your fundraising fuels vital research for congenital heart defects - the most common birth defect, affecting 1 in 100 babies. Through The Children's Heart Foundation's research grants, we fund innovative treatments and surgical advances that help children with CHD live longer, healthier lives.

All registered 5K participants will receive a custom medal and chip timing by AccuChip. Stay after the run to enjoy refreshments, entertainment and the age group awards.
