Leo’s Lions are back! ❤️ We’re so excited to once again walk in the Tampa Congenital Heart Walk, and this year feels extra special.
Leo was born with a double aortic arch, a rare condition where his main artery formed two arches that wrapped around his airway and esophagus. Unfortunately, this can cause difficulty with breathing and swallowing. On August 7th, our little heart warrior had surgery to fix it, and we’re so incredibly thankful to say it was a success! ❤️
Through it all, Leo has been nothing short of amazing. He’s still our happy, adventurous, always-smiling little guy, and we couldn’t be prouder of our strong boy!
We’re walking to celebrate Leo, his strength, his journey, and all the amazing heart warriors and families who are navigating their own journeys. ❤️
