     This June 23rd, we are walking and raising funds on behalf of our son and our little heart warrior, Jesse Albert. During our 20-week ultrasound we received the difficult news that our son would be diagnosed with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS), specifically Tricuspid Atresia. Jesse has undergone three successful heart surgeries, including a pulmonary banding and the Bidirectional-Glenn in 2021, and is one year recovered from his Fontan surgery in 2023.

     Like so many children with congenital heart disease, Jesse has fought so bravely through surgeries, blood labs, echo-cardiograms, countless X-rays, and other doctor’s appointments. Today, Jesse is our smiley, strong, smart, and determined little three-year old, who teaches us daily the value and fragility of life. We are so grateful for our energetic sweetheart.

     Please join us in walking or raising funds on behalf of our heart warrior in order to continue the important life-saving research that our son, and many others, have greatly benefitted from. It is because of this research and developments in modern medicine that have given us invaluable time and moments with our little boy. We are forever grateful to the service of nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists and all staff members who work tirelessly to treat children with CHD. We thank everyone who have supported and will continue to support us and Jesse through his life journey.
