Brooklyn was born on December 31, 2024, with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia. She fought with incredible strength for five beautiful days before passing away on January 5, 2025. In those five days, she changed our lives forever.

She spent her entire life surrounded by the remarkable doctors, nurses, and care teams at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, who fought tirelessly alongside us and loved her as if she were their own. While her time here was far too short, her impact continues to be felt every single day.

In the midst of our grief, we made the decision to donate Brooklyn's heart and lungs, allowing her legacy to continue helping others. That gift of hope is what inspires us to keep sharing her story.

Today, we walk in Brooklyn Zoe's honor and support The Children's Heart Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding research for congenital heart defects—the most common birth defect affecting babies. Research saves lives. It creates better treatments, better surgeries, and more opportunities for children with CHD to grow up and live full, healthy lives.
