I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

At 20 weeks pregnant, I was told to terminate my pregnancy and my baby would  not survive. It was a pediatric cardiologist who gave us hope. With care and patience, she helped me understand his diagnosis and pointed me toward the right specialists.

Throughout my entire pregnancy, my son’s left pulmonary artery could not be seen on imaging. Doctors believed it was discontinuous. It wasn't until he was born that they discovered it was there all along. My son was born with Double Outlet Right Ventricle, hypoplastic left ventricle, hypoplastic left pulmonary artery, pulmonary atresia, and a ventricular septal defect. 

At just four days old, he had his first open heart surgery. At nine months, he returned for his second. At age four, he completed his third. Three open heart surgeries and one incredibly strong little boy. We are here to support other heart families and drive awareness for CHD.

CHF has been the leading force behind the treatments and surgical advances that help children with congenital heart defects thrive.
