This year, we’re walking with an even deeper purpose because of our son, Samuel. Samuel is our little Heart Warrior, and his journey has given us a perspective on congenital heart defects that we never could have imagined. He is the reason we’re participating in the Congenital Heart Walk and the reason we’re so passionate about supporting research that can give children like him—and so many other Heart Warriors—the opportunity to thrive.

This year is especially meaningful as The Children’s Heart Foundation celebrates 30 incredible years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures. For three decades, CHF has been a leading force behind research that has helped advance the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care of children with congenital heart defects.

For our family, this isn’t just a walk. It’s personal. It’s for Samuel. It’s for every child born with a heart defect, every parent who has sat beside their child through uncertainty, and every family praying for more birthdays, more milestones, and more time together.
