Thank you for visiting our Congenital Heart Walk team fundraising page in honor of our angel, Veronica Urias-Ramos. Veronica, 38, passed away suddenly on December 17th, 2017 in Arcadia, California at the Methodist Hospital due to health complications. She was born with a congenital heart defect and battled with it throughout her life. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and mother who many admired for never using her illness as an excuse to do less. Veronica joined the Congenital Heart Walk in 2013 and made a commitment to walk alongside those who have battled with similar conditions. She felt very proud and passionate of doing this walk every year, fundraising, and increasing her team members every year. In remembrance of her, the Urias & Ramos family will continue to walk in honor of those millions of individuals who have been impacted by Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) but, most importantly we will walk in honor of our angel, Veronica.
