Warm heartfelt welcome to my fundraising page!
I'm walking in The Children's Heart Foundation's Congenital Heart Walk this year as they celebrate 30 incredible years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures. This is a cause close to my own heart- literally, as I was born with an atrial septal aneurysm and patent foramen ovale, though I'm lucky enough to have no side effects. My older brother passed when he was 14 from a congenital heart condition which wasn't treated in time - something I hope the CHF can prevent happening to any other family. Finally, I'm also walking to support my dear friend's young niece who has been such a tough cookie getting big and strong after going through treatment for her own CHD.
