We participate in this walk each year to celebrate our heart warrior and to honor all of the heart angels who will never be forgotten. Three years ago, at my 20-week anatomy scan, our sweet Bentley was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition called a double aortic arch. From that moment on, our pregnancy was filled with countless appointments, tests, and monitoring. At just six months old, our brave little boy underwent open-heart surgery to repair his heart. Watching him fight through it all showed us just how incredibly strong he truly is. A year ago, we received the news we had prayed for—Bentley graduated from cardiology. His repair was a success, and today he has a strong, healthy heart. We continue to walk every year not only to celebrate Bentley's journey but also to support the families who are currently facing the fear, uncertainty, and challenges of congenital heart disease. No family should have to walk this journey alone. Thank you again for your generosity, your prayers, and your support.
