On September 12th, we’re walking for our son, Brody. Brody has already shown incredible strength after being born with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), a congenital heart defect, that required open heart surgery at just one week old. His journey has inspired us every single day, and we are endlessly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and loved ones who have helped him along the way.
We’re participating in the Children’s Heart Foundation Congenital Heart Walk to help raise funds for life-changing research into congenital heart disease. Every donation brings us one step closer to better treatments, improved outcomes, and brighter futures for children like Brody. Our hope is that every child born with a heart defect has the opportunity to grow up, thrive, and live a long, healthy life.
