Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

I hope you'll join me by supporting our fundraising efforts as we work to raise funds for life-saving research. We strongly believe that with the grace of God, and with the research that has made innovative cardiac procedures possible, we have our daughter here with us today.

We are walking for our daughter Georgina Guadalupe Romo. Georgina was born on August 29, 2022 with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a combination of four congenital heart defects. However, her type of Tetralogy is a little more rare as she has TOF with severe pulmonary stenosis and multiple large VSDs. 

Georgina has undergone five cardiac catheterization procedures and two open heart surgeries in efforts to successfully achieving a full heart repair. She will need further cardiac interventions as she continues to grow, and we will be ready because Georgina is a heart warrior! She is a fighter! As such, she portrays immeasurable strength. We are extremely blessed to have her in our lives. She is our miracle; God willing, she is here for a long, healthy life.

We want to help raise awareness about congenital heart defect research and that way we can too help other babies born with CHD have a fighting chance to live a long happy life with their families and loved ones!
