Elia was born with multiple heart defects, requiring open heart surgery at two days old. While the surgery was a success, Elia's recovery was not easy, resulting in a prolonged hospital stay. Elia defied the odds and fought hard to make a full recovery. We are thankful for the incredible doctors and nurses who saved Elia's life. We are thankful for the ongoing research that allows the doctors and nurses and specialists to do the work that they do.

Let's keep up the momentum to support all heart warriors and their families. My commitment to making a difference for people with Congenital Heart Disease has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me.
