Our granddaughter Lydia was born in April, 2017 with a congenital heart defect. She had open hear surgery at 1 month, 7 months and 4 years. Thanks to her skilled surgeons and the research funded by the Children's Heart Foundation, today she is an active 7 year old first grader. Recently she choreographed and performed a River Dance type of dance at her school's talent show and WON 1st place for students in K-2. She continue to amaze us every day.
The Chicago Heart Walk is on June 8 in Lincoln Park west. Please consider making a donation to the Children's Heart Walk so more children like Lydia have a chance at a typical childhood and grow into adulthood. No donation is too small.
