Austin Congenital Heart Walk presented by Dell Children's

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit our fundraising page.

This year, the Congenital Heart Walk means more to our family than ever because we are walking for Josie—our very own Heart Warrior.

Josie is 7 months old and was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (T18). Her diagnosis has brought many complexities, but her heart remains one of our greatest concerns. She is actively followed by the incredible team at Dell Children’s Cardiology, where her doctors continue to closely monitor her heart and help us navigate what comes next.

When you have a medically complex child, research stops being something abstract. It becomes personal. It becomes hope for another option, another treatment, another advancement—and ultimately, more time with the child you love.

That is why supporting The Children’s Heart Foundation is so meaningful to us. For 30 years, the Foundation has funded research focused on advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects. That research helps improve outcomes, reduce complications, and give children like Josie the opportunity to keep fighting, growing, and celebrating more birthdays.

We walk for Josie. We walk for her heart. We walk for more time, more answers, and more hope.
