Chase was diagnosed with Coarctation of the Aorta at age 3. About a month later, he had surgery. Many of you remember those days when we wore sunglasses inside and placed all our trust in the hands of superhero doctors.
Now Chase is a thriving ten-year-old. He loves baseball, reading, playing the drums, and spending time with friends. Chase's heart is curious, loving, friendly, tenacious, and strong.
And yet, we are still involved with the Children's Heart Foundation. Why? Because they fund the most promising pediatric cardiology research, with an eye to the whole person and entire life. We love supporting this organization that helps brave little hearts with big, scary problems.
