St. Louis Congenital Heart Walk

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the St. Louis Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

As you may already know, my daughter Audrey was born with multiple left sided congenital heart defects (Shones Complex) and was diagnosed at 20 weeks in utero. She had her first open heart surgery at only 5 days old for a coarctation of the aorta repair, a cardiac cath at 6 weeks old for aortic stenosis, and a second open heart surgery at 3 years old for a subaortic membrane resection . She went into complete heart block during her second surgery and had to get a permanent pacemaker placed a week later. She is now 100% pacemaker dependent and as she grows, she unfortunately is going to need more surgeries and interventions.

While there is no cure for Audrey's CHD, we are trying to change that by raising funds for The Children's Heart Foundation to increase more research options for all kids living with CHD's!
