When I was still in my mom's tummy, the doctors found out that my heart was different. I’ve had three open-heart surgeries, a pacemaker, and more hospital visits than I can count. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s part of my story.

But here’s the thing—you wouldn’t know it if you saw me outside. I love playing with my friends, being silly, building things, and making people laugh. I’m just a kid who happens to have a special heart.

That’s why my family and I are walking in the St. Louis Congenital Heart Walk on September 27. We want to help kids like me keep growing, playing, and living full lives.
