Seven years ago, I was born with several critical heart defects. There are some cool things about my heart too, like that it’s on the wrong side of chest and backwards! Thanks to research funded by organizations like the Children's Heart Foundation, life-prolonging options were available to me. I've had three open heart surgeries and more in my future. As research continues to be funded, we're hoping more options will be available so I can keep crushing Big Macs, annoying my little sister, and playing Roblox with my big brother. I might have half the heart but I also have double the soul!
