A Message from Jess

Every time I tell someone about Thomas for the first time, I'm met with sympathy or grief.

They hear the words "heart surgery" or "previous pregnancy loss" and immediately jump to the negative.

When I look at my kid, I don't experience loss or sadness: he is the epitome of joy and strength.

Our heart journey has been just that - a journey. And while we know it's not over, we are so grateful for organizations like the Children's Heart Foundation, who put life-saving research at the center of their mission.

Each year we participate in this walk, both physically and financially. And each year we ask for your continued support in the same way, because it takes $150,000 to fund ONE grant for the CHF. One grant could be the difference between Thomas's smile lighting up a room or not.
