San Francisco / Sacramento Congenital Heart Walk

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! Georgie and I are once again participating in this year's Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

On July 6, 2022 Georgie became a heart warrior after undergoing successful corrective open heart surgery for her congenital ventricular septal defect (VSD). Words cannot describe the oceans of gratitude we feel for her surgeons and care team at UCSF and for our small but mighty village that carried us through that harrowing time. We continue to put that gratitude into action by supporting the San Francisco Congenital Heart Walk again this year. Georgie was just one month post-op for the 2022 walk and we have had such a joyous time walking every year since with friends, new and old, and celebrating with the doctors and nurses that saved her life.

We cannot wait to do it again this year! Please join or support us in any way you can.
