The Children’s Heart Foundation is thrilled to announce our 2023 San Antonio Congenital Heart Walk on October 14, 2023 at the San Antonio Zoo starting at 7:30AM! Our event includes family-friendly activities, games, music, refreshments, Heart Warrior and Heart Angel family remarks, remembrance, and mission and research updates, as well as an online participation option. The event raises critical funds for congenital heart defect (CHD) research. CHDs are the most commonly-occurring birth defect, affecting nearly 1 in 110 children born, or a child born every 15 minutes in the U.S. CHDs are the leading cause of birth defect-related deaths.
