Welcome to Team Young at Heart! We are so grateful you are here! 

Our precious Eleanor was born July 23, 2023 and the medical team quickly discovered she had a congenital heart defect (CHD) called d-Transposition of the Great Arteries. Without advanced medical intervention, her chance of survival was almost nothing. Eleanor was quickly transferred to Methodist Children’s a few hours after birth where she had a balloon septostomy procedure on her heart. A little over a week later, our tiny girl had an open heart bypass surgery to fix her defect. The surgery was successful, and we are forever grateful for the doctors and nurses who made it possible. We are also incredibly grateful for the millions of dollars, research hours, medical advancements, and heart families before us who paved a way! 

Eleanor has had a few bumps in the road since her surgery, but nothing can slow down this feisty, determined little girl! Her heart may have once been broken, but it does not lack any love! She is witty and a quick learner, copying everything her big brother does and says. To say she is obsessed with her brother is an understatement. He is the kindest and most helpful sibling, and we love that she looks up to him! Eleanor loves to dance, jump, climb, feed her babies, and usually always has a bunny tucked under arm!
