Our sweet boy, Christian was born with a single ventricle heart defect. This means that instead of having two pumping chambers in his heart, he only has one doing the work of both. It’s a very serious condition, and one that requires incredible care and treatment.

On September 10th, Christian bravely underwent open heart surgery. Handing him over that morning was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but thanks to his amazing strength and the incredible skill of his surgeon, doctors, and nurses, he came through and is recovering beautifully. We are so proud of him and endlessly grateful to the medical team that cared for him as if he were their own.

This journey is not an easy one—there are many appointments, procedures, and challenges ahead—but Christian continues to amaze us with his courage, his smile, and his fighting spirit.

We’ve created this fundraiser in honor of Christian’s journey to support the Children’s Heart Association. This incredible organization provides vital resources, research, and support for families like ours and for countless children living with congenital heart disease (CHD). Every donation helps make a difference in the lives of heart warriors and their families.
