First and foremost, I want to Thank God for the miracle he has done through Aleyna. If it wasn't for him, she wouldn't be here today.

My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. It has changed our lives forever.  Aleyna was a day old when we found out she had a heart murmur. What was worse is her being taken from us after only having her with us for 24hrs. The non-invasive pulse ox study they did on her first gave the medical team the indication she wasn't getting enough oxygen to her lower body. If she had gone home she could have died. Her echo also showed significant heart defects she has in her heart.

She was taken to the NICU on medicine to keep her aortic arch open by ambulance so she could have the proper care she needed. She was 6 days old when she had her 1st open heart surgery.  She had complications and needed a 2nd open heart surgery at 6 weeks old. 

Aleyna spent over 2 months in the hospital as a baby. Since then she has had several heart catherizations and even a heart stent in her aortic arch. 

This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research. With your help we can help kids like Aleyna.
