We are truly grateful for your visit to our team page! We have been walking in the Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk since 2017 to raise awareness and to support research in Congenital Heart Disease. Max was born 12/12/2016 with Transposition of the Great Arteries, large VSD, and pulmonary atresia. He has had two open heart surgeries and two cath lab procedures for stenting to extend the time until he needs another open heart surgery. Max, and all the other heart warriors, are the bravest kids. We are so fortunate to live in Pittsburgh and take advantage of all the amazing clinicians at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. We hope you will consider walking with us to support the warriors and honor the heart angels.

Every 15 minutes in the United States, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs the most common birth defect in our country. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is clear - we aim to raise funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation in its quest to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding groundbreaking research.
