Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

We are walking and raising funds on behalf of our son and our little heart warrior, Jesse Albert. During the 20-week ultrasound we received the difficult news that our son would be diagnosed with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS), specifically Tricuspid Atresia. Since then, Jesse has undergone three successful open heart surgeries, including a pulmonary banding (2021), the Bidirectional-Glenn (2021), and the Fontan procedure (2023). In addition, he has undergone two Heart Caths. Like so many children who have congenital heart disease, Jesse has fought so bravely, not only to get through heart surgeries, but countless other less invasive procedures and doctor’s appointments. Today, Jesse is such a smiley, strong, smart, and determined five-year old, who teaches us daily the value and fragility of our lives here. Please join us in raising funds on behalf of our heart warrior in order to continue the important lifesaving research that our son, and many others have greatly benefitted from. It is because of this research and developments in modern medicine that have given us invaluable time and moments with our little boy. We thank everyone who have supported and will continue to support us and Jesse through his life journey.
