I walk for Addie! Addison was diagnosed prenatally with a congenital heart defect called tricuspid atresia. Addison was born a heart warrior on June 10, 2022 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Just hours after birth, Addie was immediately placed on ECMO and taken to the OR for a BT shunt placement. At 4 months old, Addison underwent the Glenn procedure, which ultimately failed. Addison has had a total of 4 open heart surgeries since birth and she will likely require more in her future. There is a potential she may need a heart lung transplant in the future as well. Addison has had a long road. She has been at CHOP for 7 months (and counting). Everyday we pray for Addison to come home to her family. Everyday we hope and pray for an answer, for a cure, for a miracle. On March 12th, I will ride for Addie, my little heart warrior ??♥️ Donations are also welcome even if you do not want to participate in the walk.
