I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

Our daughter Isabella was diagnosis with DORV (double outlet right ventricle), VSD (large hole in heart), and severe pulmonary stenosis 18 weeks in utero after a feta echo along with other birth defects.   Isabella was born at 37 weeks via emergency c-section at CHOP due membrane separation. As soon as born she was rushed to the cardiac intensive care unit where she spent 24 days there. She needed her first cardiac Cath at 3 days old where they placed a stent in her PDA to keep it open until she was expected to get major open-heart surgery around 5 months.  Isabella did get a full repair when she was 5 months and was then hospital for 2 months and then home for 9 days and then spend another 2 months in the hospital. Isabella had a very complicated first year and a half of life as she was mostly in the hospital due to many complications after her heart surgery as well as being diagnosed with chronic lung disease when she was around a year old.  Isabella now is doing much better with some interventions and medicines to remain stable. She had more than 20 admissions and at least spend 300 days in the hospital. She will need at least another open-heart surgery for a heart valve replacement and to fix patching in the near future.

My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
