My Personal Fundraising Page

In March of 2020, as the world was shutting down due to covid, we sat in the hospital and prayed. We had just found out the our newborn daughter's heart and lungs were not connected, as she was born with an isolated right pulmonary artery. After torturous days of watching her suffer, unable to hold her or comfort her, she underwent open heart surgery at only 6 days old. Fast forward 4 years, and our girl is running and playing and living her best life.

Her heart and lungs still get checked on by her medical care team, and one day she will most likely need a stent placed. Without the lifesaving research that has brought the medical field to where it is today, Corrina wouldn't be with us today. This is why this fundraiser for the Children's Heart Foundation means so much to me. I want to help every kid born with a congenital heart defect to recieve the lifesaving care we were lucky enough to recieve. While the field continues to advance, there is still much more to learn and more lives to be saved. So I humbly ask you for your support in this mission.
