Thank you for visiting our team page! Every 15 minutes, a baby in this country is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs America's most common birth defect. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to raising funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation's mission: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding the most promising research.
This is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. Our baby girl Jules, was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot at 17 weeks in utero. With the help of our doctors, nurses, family, and friends, Jules received the absolute best care and by 8 months old, she underwent three successful open-heart surgeries to repair her heart condition. Jules is the strongest, bravest, most resilient baby! She loves to play, laugh, smile, and cuddle with her family. We love watching her learn new things everyday as she grows. The donations that the walk collects will not only continue to support Jules but all the heart heroes in the CHD community. We appreciate all the love and support we have had and continue to receive.
