Long Island Congenital Heart Walk

I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

This year, I'm walking with extra purpose as The Children's Heart Foundation celebrates 30 incredible years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures.

My family say "Victoria Hope Dooley was born on November 21, 2011 with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome. That first week she faced her first big test and embarked on a voyage of courage, hope, tolerance, persistence, love and grace. That test was the Norwood surgery. She would face two more surgeries, the Glen and Fontan, over the next two years. Through everything, Victoria has maintained a grace that we can only describe as inspiring. Her smile has cut through tears, fears, and worry, and lifts everyone she meets. Victoria is 14 now, is in 9th grade! Everything she is able to do and enjoy is in great thanks to medical professionals, research teams and all who contribute to the task of overcoming the odds to provide a better life for those with heart defects".
