I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

This year, marks 8 1/2  years since our Jacquelyn's 1st heart surgery in California, and 6 years since Jacquelyn's 2nd heart surgery closer to home. We are so unbelievably greatful for the advances in technology that have helped our baby girl- now BIG girl grow in so many ways and enjoy life! Though she may always need to exercise caution in certain activities, it does not stop her from being fun, brave, and fierce! She is adventurous, and filled inpiration to put her mind to anything. The love and wonder that comes off of our Jackie is extraordinary, and we would not be at this chapter today if it were not for donations and scientific breakthroughs in heart disease.

We are walking as a team not just to show support for Jackie, but to show support for all who have been impacted by different variations of heart disease; for the parents who are finding out their baby is going to need heart surgery, and for the familes who have been impacted by heart disease in all different ways, and for those who have been lost to heart disease.

Our commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me—especially knowing that for three decades, CHF has been the leading force behind the treatments and surgical advances that help children with congenital heart defects thrive.

This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation's crucial mission—advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before.
