On May 3rd I will be walking with the Children’s Heart Foundation in honor of my Grandchildren Gemma and Dylan.
Gemma has a complex heart defect and has undergone 4 open heart surgeries. She is now 5 years old and does extremely well despite having half a heart.
Dylan, 2 years old, underwent surgery at 6 months old for a Vascular ring. Luckily his condition was less complex and today he is thriving!
