At 22 weeks pregnant we found out our son, Santino, would be born with a rare congenital heart defect called Transpostionn of the Great Arteries. On 1/12/23 Sonny was born & on 1/17/23 he underwent open heart surgery. We are so grateful for modern day advances that saved our son's life.
We are participating in our first Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.
