Every 15 minutes in the United States, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs the most common birth defect in our country. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is clear - we aim to raise funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation in its quest to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding groundbreaking research.
We invite you to join us in this mission. Many of you know our grandson Aubren was born with D-TGA, a condition which went undetected until birth. As you can imagine it was a hard battle for mom, dad and our little heart warrior Aubren. He had his first procedure hours after being born, and his heart surgery one week after that. We are grateful for the quick response of the medical team, the prayer warriors who had faith and prayed in agreement with us for his healing and quick recovery. It has been a process and he still has a long road ahead of him but we are grateful for all the research and advancement brought to light becuase of foundations such as these.
