I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page. 

My son, Daniel, was born with 3 congenital heart defects: Transposition of the Great Arteries, ventricular septal defect, and coarctation of the aorta.   He had his first open heart surgery at 6 days old, his second OHS at 5 months old, and a heart catherization/ stent placement at 2 1/2. At his last appointment we were told his right side heart pressures have increased again and he will most likely need another heart catherization this summer.  Daniel will need at least one more open heart surgery in the future which will require him to be adult sized.  

My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
