I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit Izzy's page. Izzy LOVES the Heart Walk every year and she would love for her friends and family to join her. 

Izzy was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome, pulmonary stenosis, a little hole in between her chambers, and a couple of other more minor defects of the heart. She's a proud heart warrior. To date, Izzy has avoided surgery, having a heart cath with balloon twice in the first year of her life. We hope that with continued research, when Izzy needs a new valve or other repairs, there will be less invasive options available to her. 

This is Izzy's 7th heart walk! The Congenital Heart Walk is an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
