At our 20 week ultrasound we were given the scariest news I think any parent can receive, our little boy was diagnosed with DAA Congenital heart defect. We were scared, lost and all the emotions you can possibly think of. It’s been such a ride since we received the scary news but we have had the best support team along with best care from Children’s Hospital, Maternal Fetal Medicine Saint Joseph and our OB doctors. On December 7th 2023 we had to face one the scariest days of our lives as or little boy at 6 months old went under for heart surgery. Today our little boy is now 13 months old and stronger than ever, he is our heart worrior and he has grown to be such a strong boy with a personality out of this world. Big shout out to all the Doctors and medical staff that have helped us through our pregnancy and most imortanly Thank you to the amazing heart surgon that took amazing care of our Bentley boy.
