Sophia was born with congenital heart disease. She has 2 left sides of a heart, no right side, called left atrial insomerism. Her heart is also on the opposite side of her chest (right side). Which is called dextrocardia. Sophia's heart also has other heart defects such as a hole between the bottom two chambers and shes missing the wall separating the upper two chambers, along with a few other valve issues. She will need open heart surgeries as she continues to grow.
