Jaxson’s Journey – Four Years Strong
This year marks four years of Jaxson’s Journey. Before he was born, we learned he had an unbalanced atrioventricular septal defect, a small left ventricle, and several holes in his heart. Thanks to early detection, his first surgery took place just days after his birth.
Since then, Jaxson has shown incredible strength, enduring five heart surgeries. His most recent surgery was this past May, followed by 47 days in the hospital as he recovered. It’s been a long road, but we are hopeful this repair was the last, and that no more surgeries will be necessary.
We are endlessly grateful—for the research and medical advancements that made his treatment possible, for the extraordinary surgeons and cardiologists guiding his care, and for the love, prayers, and support that have carried us through this journey.
That gratitude fuels my commitment to making a difference. This year, I’m participating in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event deeply meaningful to me. It’s more than a walk—it’s a stride toward changing lives. Proceeds support The Children’s Heart Foundation, whose mission is to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
? Please join me in walking for this cause. Every step we take together brings hope.
If walking isn’t possible, a donation would mean so much.
