As a Pediatric Cardiac Nurse at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, I have seen first hand the importance of The Children's Heart Foundation's misison of advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research. I have participated in the Cleveland Congenital Heart Walk for the last few years with the Rainbow Racers team. This year, I decided to take the leap and become the Team Captain. Seeing my patients and their families being celebrated and honored outside of the hospital is something truly incredible. The joy and optimism is something that can only be felt at an event such as this and I urge you to join us on Saturday, September 7th to participate in this stride toward changing lives.
