Lindsey's Message to Walter Warriors...
If you've made it to this page, it shows you have a tremendous heart.
Walter was born with a rare form of Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (a congenital heart defect), and underwent open heart surgery at 10 days old. Thanks to the amazing care of Cincinnati Childrens' Hospital, his heart is doing much better! Walter will require significant medical attention for the rest of his life, but will have a full army to support him including his loving family and great people like yourself!
Please consider joining our team (Walk with Walter) for a 1mile walk at the Cincinnati Zoo 02AUG, where registration costs are donated to Children's Heart Foundation for their research grants. If you're not available to walk, please consider donating to Walter's team. Donations can be made using the buttons on this dashboard. All registrations and donations will be made to Children's Heart Foundation on Walter's behalf.
