Chicago Congenital Heart Walk

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

We have two amazing kids! They are both full of joy and spunk and laughter and large personalities. :-) Our son, Isaac, was born with HLHS, but if you watched him run around on the playground, you would never guess that he has half a working heart. Becoming a heart mom has been exhausting and at times terrifying but there are also many other moments that are full of beauty and wonder and pure joy.

We are so thankful that others before us have supported congential heart research efforts, as Isaac would not be here today without them. However we still have MUCH work to do to insure that EVERY heart hero and family can enjoy long happy, healthy lives together.
