When our daughter, Adelena, was born, we learned shortly after her birth that she had a congenital heart defect called Ebstein’s Anomaly. It was a diagnosis that shook us to our core, but as we navigated the uncertainty, one of the first organizations we discovered was the Children’s Heart Foundation. They provided us with the information and resources we so desperately needed in those early, overwhelming days. Adelena's journey is far from over, but for now, we are doing our part to come alongside other families by taking part in Heart Walk Chicago. We believe in the work of the Children's Heart Foundation  and are raising funds to give back and ensure other families like ours can find the same guidance, research, and support for years to come.
