In 2013 my niece Mae died at 18 months old from a congenital heart defect. She was a beautiful little beam of light with a sense of fun that you want every 18 month old to feel. She was a joy to have in our lives and we will never fully get over our loss. But we can help other people not go through this. Since 2014, my family has walked in honor of Mae. And we'll do it again in 2024.
