Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Congenital Heart Walk! This is my 4th year on the heart walk committee and i am so excited and grateful for your support :)
As many of you may know, I was born with the congenital heart defect of Pulmonary Stenosis. This condition narrows the pulmonary valve, restricting proper blood flow from the heart to the lungs which therefor prevents blood from being properly oxygenated. At 3 days old, my defect was corrected with open heart surgery at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Now, 30 years later I am living a full and healthy life! Raising funds for CHD research is critically important to all Heart Warriors and Heart Angels and very personal to me.
