The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to raising funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation's mission: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding the most promising research.

We are walking for our daughter Georgina Guadalupe Romo. Georgina was born on August 29, 2022 with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a combination of four congenital heart defects. However, her type of Tetralogy is a little more rare as she has TOF with severe pulmonary stenosis and multiple VSDs.
Georgina has undergone two cardiac catheterization procedures and will soon be getting her full heart repair via open heart surgery. Georgina is a heart warrior! And as such, portrays immeasurable strength. We are extremely blessed to have her in our lives.
We want to help raise awareness about congenital heart defect research and that way we can too help other babies born with CHD have a fighting chance to live a long healthy life with their families and loved ones!
