Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.

We are participating on behalf of our daughter, Elliana Jeanne "Jelly Bean". Ellie was born with an undiagnosed heart defect in January 2023 and has been in the PICU since. She has been dealing with not just the recovery from her heart defect but many other complications to other organs as well. We hope to bring her home very soon, but she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. 

Before Ellie was born, I knew very little about the CHD world. However, since, my eyes have been opened to the great need there is in helping every 1 in 110 babies that are born with a CHD. This is a way too common issue that touches the lives of so many. With more research, support, and awareness I believe we can change lives, like our little Ellie, in BIG ways!
