Hello Friends and Family! This Saturday we'll be walking once again to fundraise and spread awareness for Congenital Heart Disease at the 2023 Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk benefiting the Children's Heart Foundation.

As many of you know, in 2012 our son Judah was born with a very rare and critical type of Congenital Heart Defect - Truncus Arteriosus. CHD's range in complexity, but many babies born with a CHD will require open heart surgery or other interventions to survive. Judah has needed several heart surgeries and countless other procedures over the years to allow him to be the happy and amazing kid he is today, and will need more in the years to come.

Congenital Heart Diseases affect approximately 1 out of 100 children, and are one of the leading causes of all infant deaths in the US and Worldwide, but only a fraction of a penny of each dollar the government spends on medical research funding is directed towards congenital heart defect research.
